And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss.

And those who launch a charge against chaste women, and produce not four witnesses (to support their allegations),- flog them with eighty stripes; and reject their evidence ever after: for such men are wicked transgressors;-

Ali bin Hujr tells us, Ismail ibn Ja'far told us of Humaid, from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah said, "Verily depart in the morning or late afternoon the path of Allah is better than the world and whatever is in it (and its contents ). Indeed bow range of one of you or place his hand in heaven is better and the world and its inhabitants. Suppose a woman resident of heaven come to earth [the world], surely it will illuminate something that is in the heavens and the earth, and will meet something between heaven and earth with fragrant smell, and it's veil on her head is better than the world and whatever is in it.

O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Do not marry unbelieving women (idolaters), until they believe: A slave woman who believes is better than an unbelieving woman, even though she allures you. Nor marry (your girls) to unbelievers until they believe: A man slave who believes is better than an unbeliever, even though he allures you. Unbelievers do (but) beckon you to the Fire. But Allah beckons by His Grace to the Garden (of bliss) and forgiveness, and makes His Signs clear to mankind: That they may celebrate His praise.
