The basics of human nature is curmudgeonly and stingy. It has been mentioned in the Quran about the curmudgeonly and stingy.
Here's one sura / verse found in the Quran:
Covetous over you. Then when fear comes, thou wilt see them looking to thee, their eyes revolving, like (those of) one over whom hovers death: but when the fear is past, they will smite you with sharp tongues, covetous of goods. Such men have no faith, and so Allah has made their deeds of none effect: and that is easy for Allah.
[Al-Ahzab 33:19]
An understanding of this verse is that humans tend to hold that there is goodness in him. Understanding griping here more difficult conding to give is not a property or an object but are more inclined to act the man himself.
Here's one tradition that can help understand the griping about:
"O My servants, all of you are hungry except in his native whom I feed, so beg food from Me. O My servants, you actually at his home naked, except for those which I gave clothing, then ask for my clothes. "
(Hadith Reported by Muslim)
That sense griping about it, hopefully the above hadith can provide insight. That is not a man who gives but GOD who gave through human hands.
Then the miser here is more inclined to property and commerce world. Here's one surt and verses contained in the Quran :
Say: "If ye had control of the Treasures of the Mercy of my Lord, behold, ye would keep them back, for fear of spending them: for man is (every) niggardly!"
[Al-Isra 17:100]
Truly man was created very impatient
[Al-Maarij 70:19]
Already written in the Koran basic human traits that can not be separated from nature that are weaker (lust) and lust (worldliness).
It formed the basis of the nature of the other properties that are not far from the nature of the result of too much to indulge yourself humane.

Fretful when evil touches him;
[Al-Maarij 70:20]
Man is a creature of haste: soon (enough) will I show you My Signs; then ye will not ask Me to hasten them!

Of it all there needs to be an awareness of the nature of human nature is full of flaws.
Thus the Almighty GOD has called on people to practice the Quran and pray to rid itself (soul and heart), the rest of the soul with light.
There are several chapters and verses contained in the Koran regarding self-cleaning and light cleaning. And one of the authentic hadith :
Recite what is sent of the Book by inspiration to thee, and establish regular Prayer: for Prayer restrains from shameful and unjust deeds; and remembrance of Allah is the greatest (thing in life) without doubt. And Allah knows the (deeds) that ye do.
[Al-Ankaboot 29:45]
Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things.

Had told us [ Salih ibn Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Sa'id al Qaththan ] ; had told us [ ' Ubaidullah ibn Musa ] ; has been preaching to us [ Mubarak bin Hassan ] of [ Nafi ' ] of [ Ibn ' Umar ] he said ; Prophet sallallaahu ' alaihi wasallam said : "O son of Adam , two cases , one of which will not be yours , I have made a part of the treasure to you when I took the anger that I cleanse you and make you clean and prayers of my servants unto after the arrival ajalmu . "

And that human beings , not all are created to get HIS light there is also a human being created to get dark . Because of the two celestial beings have been created that heaven and hell . There were entitled to go to heaven and some are entitled to go to hell .
All that has been written and described repeatedly in letters and verses different but all it sustainable and complement each other .
Man is not able to choose what kind of life , and to wonder how , because all that has been written in the book that is the real parent Preserved Tablet which has created 50,000 years long before the creation of the earth and the sky .
Because of the basic concepts of Islamic faith in faith the latter is believed to Qada and Qadar .
Had told us [ Adam ] told us [ Syu'bah ] told us [ Al A'masy ] I heard [ Zaid bin Wahb ] I heard [ ' Abdullah ibn Mas'ud ] radliyallahu'anhu , had told our Prophet Shallallahu'alaihiwasallam that he is an honest delivered , and news delivered to him is true , that the creation of one of you gathered in his mother's belly for forty days , or forty nights , then became a blood clot in the next forty days , then becomes a piece of flesh in the next forty days , then God sent an angel to him and ordered to establish four sentences ( four terms ), about sustenance , death , charity , miserable or happy .
Then God breathed the spirit of him , surely there is one among you who do deeds of the heavenly host until there was no distance between him and heaven other than a cubit , but then fate had preceded him , then he was doing practice inhabitants of hell and finally go to hell . And indeed there is one among you who do practice the inhabitants of Hell , until there was no distance between him and hell besides a cubit , but then fate before him , then he was practicing deeds so he entered the heavenly host . "

matters which man plunges to darkness and lead them to Hell:
Of companions of Abu Hurayrah Radiyallahu 'anhu, he said, Rasullullah Sallallahu' Alaihi Wa Sallam has said: "Jauhillah seven devastation that can happen to you." Then (Companions) asked, "What is it, O Messenger of Allah?" Then the king answered, "associating partners with Allah, hunks (miser), kill the soul which Allah has forbidden, consuming riba, consuming the orphan's property, running from war, who accuse chaste believing women, female adultery."
