Saul (שָׁאוּל "The borrowed", Standard Hebrew Sa ʾ ul, Tiberian Hebrew ʾ ul SA), the first king of Israel came from the tribe of Benjamin. His father was Kisy, and he comes from a family Matri.

There are two stories about the election of Saul to be king of Israel. The first relates that he was selected at the direction of Father Yahweh to Samuel (1 Samuel 9:16-17) " 16 To morrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and thou shaltanoint him to be captain over my people Israel, that he may save my people out of the hand of thePhilistines: for I have looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me. 17 And whenSamuel saw Saul, the LORD said unto him, Behold the man whom I spake to thee of! this same shall reign over my people. ", and the second relates that he was selected through a lottery (1 Samuel 10:17-27) " 17 Samuel summoned the people of Israel to the LORD at Mizpah 18 and said to them, “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘I brought Israel up out of Egypt, and I delivered you from the power of Egypt and all the kingdoms that oppressed you.’ 19 But you have now rejected your God, who saves you out of all your disasters and calamities. And you have said, ‘No, appoint a king over us.’ So now present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes and clans.” 20 When Samuel had all Israel come forward by tribes, the tribe of Benjamin was taken by lot. 21 Then he brought forward the tribe of Benjamin, clan by clan, and Matri’s clan was taken. Finally Saul son of Kish was taken. But when they looked for him, he was not to be found. 22 So they inquired further of the LORD, “Has the man come here yet?”And the LORD said, “Yes, he has hidden himself among the supplies.” 23 They ran and brought him out, and as he stood among the people he was a head taller than any of the others. 24 Samuel said to all the people, “Do you see the man the LORD has chosen? There is no one like him among all the people.” Then the people shouted, “Long live the king!” 25 Samuel explained to the people the rights and duties of kingship. He wrote them down on a scroll and deposited it before the LORD. Then Samuel dismissed the people to go to their own homes. 26 Saul also went to his home in Gibeah, accompanied by valiant men whose hearts God had touched. 27 But some scoundrels said, “How can this fellow save us?” They despised him and brought him no gifts. But Saul kept silent. . Saul was anointed by Samuel, last judge of Israel. "

The end of Saul's reign was marked by some of his rebellion to the Father Yahweh. Saul was impatient to wait for the arrival of Samuel to lead the ceremony of offering sacrifices before he led the battle against the Philistines (1 Samuel 13)  “ You have done a foolish thing,” Samuel said. “You have not kept the command the LORD your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time. 14 But now your kingdom will not endure; the LORD has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him ruler of his people, because you have not kept the LORD’s command. ” , and he refused orders to kill all the Amalekites and their livestock (1 Samuel 15) Saul answered, “The soldiers brought them from the Amalekites; they spared the best of the sheep and cattle to sacrifice to the LORD your God, but we totally destroyed the rest.” . As a result, Father Yahweh rejected Saul, and he was replaced by David.

An event that describes the nadir of the spiritual life of Saul was when he went to contact a female medium at En-Dor to ask the spirit of Samuel to find out what will happen in the war against the Philistines who will soon face (1 Samuel 28:1-251 In those days the Philistines gathered their forces to fight against Israel. Achish said to David, “You must understand that you and your men will accompany me in the army.”

David said, “Then you will see for yourself what your servant can do.” Achish replied, “Very well, I will make you my bodyguard for life.” Saul and the Medium at Endor

Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had mourned for him and buried him in his own town of Ramah. Saul had expelled the mediums and spiritists from the land.

The Philistines assembled and came and set up camp at Shunem, while Saul gathered all Israel and set up camp at Gilboa.

When Saul saw the Philistine army, he was afraid; terror filled his heart.

He inquired of the LORD, but the LORD did not answer him by dreams or Urim or prophets.

Saul then said to his attendants, “Find me a woman who is a medium, so I may go and inquire of her.” “There is one in Endor,” they said.

So Saul disguised himself, putting on other clothes, and at night he and two men went to the woman. “Consult a spirit for me,” he said, “and bring up for me the one I name.”

But the woman said to him, “Surely you know what Saul has done. He has cut off the mediums and spiritists from the land. Why have you set a trap for my life to bring about my death?”

Saul swore to her by the LORD, “As surely as the LORD lives, you will not be punished for this.”

Then the woman asked, “Whom shall I bring up for you?”“Bring up Samuel,” he said.

When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out at the top of her voice and said to Saul, “Why have you deceived me? You are Saul!”

The king said to her, “Don’t be afraid. What do you see?” The woman said, “I see a ghostly figure[a] coming up out of the earth.”

“What does he look like?” he asked. “An old man wearing a robe is coming up,” she said. Then Saul knew it was Samuel, and he bowed down and prostrated himself with his face to the ground.

Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?”. “I am in great distress,” Saul said. “The Philistines are fighting against me, and God has departed from me. He no longer answers me, either by prophets or by dreams. So I have called on you to tell me what to do.”

Samuel said, “Why do you consult me, now that the LORD has departed from you and become your enemy?

The LORD has done what he predicted through me. The LORD has torn the kingdom out of your hands and given it to one of your neighbors—to David.

Because you did not obey the LORD or carry out his fierce wrath against the Amalekites, the LORD has done this to you today.

The LORD will deliver both Israel and you into the hands of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons will be with me. The LORD will also give the army of Israel into the hands of the Philistines.”

Immediately Saul fell full length on the ground, filled with fear because of Samuel’s words. His strength was gone, for he had eaten nothing all that day and all that night.

When the woman came to Saul and saw that he was greatly shaken, she said, “Look, your servant has obeyed you. I took my life in my hands and did what you told me to do.

Now please listen to your servant and let me give you some food so you may eat and have the strength to go on your way.”

He refused and said, “I will not eat.” But his men joined the woman in urging him, and he listened to them. He got up from the ground and sat on the couch.

The woman had a fattened calf at the house, which she butchered at once. She took some flour, kneaded it and baked bread without yeast.

Then she set it before Saul and his men, and they ate. That same night they got up and left. . This is a decision that is colored by a sense of Saul's desperate because Samuel had died, while Father Yahweh did not answer him.

After the death of Saul, Ishbosheth, Saul's son, was announced by Abner, Saul's army commander, as his successor (2 Samuel 2:8) " But Abner the son of Ner, commander of Saul’s army, had taken [a]Ish-bosheth the son of Saul and brought him over to Mahanaim. ". Ishbosheth was 40 years old at the time and ruled Israel for two years (2 Samuel 2:10) " Ishbosheth, Saul's son, was forty years old when he began to reign over Israel, and he reigned two years. But the house of Judah followed David. ". Yet another group claimed David as king of Israel. This led to the outbreak of war between these two groups. The group eventually won David (2 Samuel 3:1) " Now there was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David; and David grew steadily stronger, but the house of Saul grew weaker continually. " , but the war ended only after Abner joined by David (2 Samuel 3:6) " It happened, while there was war between the house of Saul and the house of David, that Abner made himself strong in the house of Saul. ". Jonathan is the son of Saul who became intimate friend of David.

" They (the army he have kingship), defeat the Goliath with the permission of Allah and (in war) David slew Goliath, and Allah gave him (David) and wisdom (after death he have kingship) and teaches him what he wills. If God did not reject (malignancy) proportion of mankind with some others, must have corrupted this earth. But God has a gift (which is poured) over the worlds. "
